Near Grand Army Plaza

We're going to a concert at the Central Library Sunday afternoon, and would like to eat out dinner aftereward. Can anyone recommend a good place to eat, ethnicr American is fine, not very expensive, in walking distance of Grand Army Plaza? Thanks.

    A gem of a restaurant. Great steak and seafood. Creative cooking and a friendly atmosphere.

      I think Amorina is a good choice on Vanderbilt. Creative individual pizzas, good salads and very italian pastas - warm informal neighborhood atmosphere and at a lower price than Franny's -which is also very good

          Search on Vanderbilt Ave. for numerous choices. The nearby Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens also have decent options.
