Can you freeze buttermilk?

I purchased a qt. of buttermilk to use for a fried chicken recipe. Can I freeze the leftover buttermilk for future use? Thanks

    Yes you can, I freeze about 1 cup in each bag or plastic container that way I don't have to defrost the whole thing when I need some.
