Lipton Yellow Label Tea bags
Does anyone know a place that sells this in the Twin Cities area? After living in Singapore and drinking it I came to love it can not find it here!

You might try Bills Imported Foods in Mpls (Lake St, a block west of Lyndale).

You could also try calling United Noodles located at 2015 E 24th Street in Minneapolis. Their phone number is: 612-721-6677 if you wanted to call ahead and ask if they carry it. And here is a link to their website for you to check out as well: http://www.unitednoodles.com/. Hope that helps.

I was at United Noodles today and saw it in loose tea. Not sure if they have it in tea bags.

Maybe the Indian grocery stores? There's one on Central Avenue. It was once called Patels, but I'm not sure of the name now. I remember a variety of teas.

Question - Is the Lipton Yellow Label the standard Lipton tea? I mean their regular tea they've been selling for many decades in the US? I grew up with a bowl of Lipton tea every morning, and I'm just wondering if the OP is searching for the standard Lipton tea, or if this is something special, something different?

No. Not the same.

MplsM ary - can you elaborate? I just did a quick Wiki search of Lipton Yellow Label, which states that Lipton Yellow Label is a "pillar brand" for Lipton, and available in 150 countries worldwide. I'm just trying to understand whether there is a difference between the Lipton Yellow Label the OP is searching for, and the Lipton Tea that comes in the yellow box that I grew up drinking and that my mom still drinks?

Regular Lipton is quite jarringly different from and I'd say inferior to Yellow Label. First off, US Lipton tea is orange pekoe and Yellow label is black tea. Yellow Label is stronger yet less tannic.

From Liptons web site. Yellow Label is Orange Pekoe Black Tea. Try a Indian store, they are the only ones that may have it.

You might try the Kenilworth Estate orange pekoe from Teasource in St Paul or St Anthony
