Why are Chow Tips Videos starting by themselves in my browser (Firefox).

It's very annoying and I swear I'm not clicking on them.

        Do you remember which thread and which video? The tech team asked for details to help troubleshoot the issue.

        This hasn't happened to me for a while.

          I mentioned what it was on the other thread complaining about this.

          It was the home cooking one on "perfect choc cake." I finally just muted my sound on the computer -- it just kept going on and on.

      Not just Firefox, it happens in IE and Chrome too. This has been broken for so long that it seems clear that Chowhound has no intention of fixing it.

        It's a bug. Reported numerous times. Still broken. Random & intermittent.
