Cuy

What store can I get cuy from in the twin cities? I'm taking a trip up there next week and am looking to get some. I know it's available somewhere because some Ecuadorian students made some.

Galapagos Market on Hennepin in Northeast Minneapolis (kind of across from Aveda) is a small Ecuadoran grocery that used to carry it in the freezer case. I've not been there in a long time, so I'm not sure if they still do, but if they don't have any in stock, they'd probably know who does. There are also a couple of Ecuadoran markets in the area of Central Ave and Lowry. You might have some luck at those. There is also an Ecuadoran Church in that area that serves it on occasion.

I'm pretty sure it's on the menu at Chino Latino. Having said that, I haven't tried it, and I think Chino sucks.

If you want to make it yourself, I'd try PetSmart :)
