Fixed price lunch recs--French Quarter

I'm staying at the edge of the French Quarter and want to treat a friend to lunch at a great restaurant. I was disappointed that NOLA doesn't have a prix fixe (Emeril New Orleans does, but it isn't walking distance).

Thanks!

Wow, such a deal! Maybe tomorrow.

Turns out Emeril's New Orleans was walking distance. Nice selection for the prix fixe, too. We each had rabbit remoulade on fried green tomatoes to start, then he had the duck confit melt and I had the trout on...actually I'm not sure what it was on, seemed like a high-end sloppy joe but that can't be right. Creme brulee and peach sorbet for dessert. $19.50 for three courses, plus we had wine and coffee. Delicious food, quiet (unlike NOLA, which I really liked, but it was noisy!).

Antoine's, August, Mila, Muriel's, Luke and Cuvee have prix fixe lunch.

Emeril's is less than 10 short blocks from Canal. Put on some comfortable shoes and walk. If you are on the Esplanade side of the FQ then OK go to Antoine's for the 3 course $20.10 prix fixe and 25 cent martini's.

Here's a link to some NOLA summer specials. Call to see if they are still being honored. Good luck.
