Weekend in Baltimore

This is last minute, but I'm going to Baltimore this weekend/ Although I've been there many times I've mostly eaten in pubs. Any recommendations for a good place for dinner for a group of 8-10? I'd like if there was an equivalent to Momofuku in NYC - affordable, casual, and a menu full of pork belly.

  1. I was going to say LITTLE ITALY has many nice restaurants but then I read the Pork Belly part.

    1. You may want to consider Tapas Adela in Fells Point. I can't recommend from personal experience, but have dined at the other restaurants owned by the same people and the food was always very good.

Baltimore is definitely not New York in terms of food choices, so pork belly is not readily available, but it appears on the Tapas Adela menu. FoiGras

Huh? Pork belly is thankfully ubiquitous these days. In addition to those listed by Trip Klaus below, I recommend the pork belly appetizer at B&O or Korean BBQ at Joung Kak.

The best I've ever had was at Grace Garden, but it's not in the city.

        Grace Garden
        1690 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD

      2. Although reservations may be difficult at this late date, I would suggest:

Wine Market: Pork Belly Reuben and Lobster Bowl with great inexpensive wine program.
Jack's Bistro: Crispy Sous Vide Pork Belly and other interesting food combinations.
Brewer's Art: Pork Belly app, Great full menu and locally made Belgian-style beer
Salt Tavern: Pork Cheeks no Belly

        Brewer's Art
        1106 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21201

        Jack's Bistro
3123 Elliott St, Baltimore, MD 21224

        Wine Market
921 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

B&O might be a good choice. They definitely have pork belly. I liked it the one time I went (though it was in April).

        2. I can recommend Tapas Adela from personal experience. As long as it's not underwater from last night's flooding.
