Cake/bakery near Sawtelle Blvd.?

Does anyone know of a bakery near Sawtelle Blvd? In particular, I'm looking for a bakery that makes a not too sweet white cake with no frosting or layers, just a thin white chocolate shell on top of the cake. My Mom had the delicious cake at a function about a year ago. Thanks!

cake house is at sawtelle and olympic - they are korean style with some delicate cakes - maybe what youre looking for.

if not - you should check out their pastries anyway because they are yum-my.

I'm a big fan of Emil's on Santa Monica a couple blocks west of Sawtelle, but I'm not entirely sure if they'll have what you need.
