Hazelnut Extract?

Has anyone seen hazelnut extract anywhere? I special ordered it from a beer supply shop for my hazelnut brown ale (which we are bottling tomorrow), but it looks like they haven't gotten it in yet. Thanks!

  1. If you order from King Arthur Flour's online store it will arrive in a few days:

If you prefer to buy locally, you might try and old-style Italian grocery. Sheesh, what's the name of that great place in the North End that sells its own roasted coffee beans? It's just the kind of thing they would sell.

    I hope this helps.

I think you mean Polcari's. Other places to check: Salumeria Italiana, and Cardullo's.

    2. Harvest Co-op in Central has a wide selection of extracts. Otherwise, Christina's in Inman (the spice shop next to their ice cream parlor) specializes in stuff like that.

      1. Thanks for your suggestions, all. They called me last night saying the extract was in, so I'm all set.
