New restaurants opening in Edmonton

Now that our RROTM has died, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where we can keep track of places that have recently opened or will be opening in the near future.

V Sandwiches (open in the last little while I think)
Tres Carnales (tacos in March 2011!)
The Marc (apparently Sept 30?)
Queen of Tarts permanent location
D'Lish reopening as a restaurant
Corso 32 (Daniel Costa)

I know I'm missing some names. Add some if you can think of any others!

Green's (on Calgary Trail South a few doors down from Tropica) changed hands and re-opened as "Oops Tea" recently.

Drinks (BBT) are still good, some new additions to the menu (hot herbal dessert w/sweet potato is very good).

Got a glimpse of the food at corso32 last night - amazing! I'm very excited for this restaurant to open this week. I'll write a more detailed review in a new post.

A relatively new place is Wok's Up Express, aka Shanghai 456. I reviewed in the thread on Chinese restaurants in Edmonton here:

It's out by the Municipal Airport for now, but will probably move to another location as soon as they find one.

From what I read Corso 32 will be on Jasper Avenue mid-October with 30 seats. Along with Costa will be sous chef Ben Chalmers (formerly chef at Jack’s Grill)

Let's just hope that Tres Carnales actually lives up the name. First and foremost, I will hope they find a spot, secure a lease etc... A concept is one thing...a real go of it, that's another.

As well. A second location of Cafe de Ville is set to open in Sherwood Park in December.

Tres Carnales has secured a space on Rice Howard Way. Tacos by April!

In the spot beside Sherlock's that has been various variations of a Greek restaurant or night club for a matter of months?
