Anniversay rec's Peekskill/Beacon area

Looking for rec's for a romantic restaurant for an anniversary dinner. Somewhere around Peekskill up to Beacon. Totally unfamiliar with the area.

Zeph's is a great choice. Also Valley in Garrison in very good. Tavern (also in Garrison) may also be good but they changed chefs lately.

Agreed that Zephs' is great. Misterbill, I went to Tavern recently for lunch... I was a huge fan before the chef switch and nervous it wouldn't be as good... The lunch menu is very, very limited but it was ok... my burger was cooked pretty far past my requested medium, but it was still really tasty. We sat on the enclosed patio, which abuts the garden and is very pretty. In the winter the small main room is cozy. I didn't have enough to really judge completely but I would go back. I'm not sure I'd go for a real special occasion though. Valley's still on my list to try for that.

Oh, also, unrelated to the original request, but down the road from Tavern is a market serving a limited variety of Jane's ice cream.
