Thanksgiving in / around Mineola?

We normally do something in Manhattan on Thanksgiving, but we're considering something a little closer to the mother-in-law's, as we'll be staying there this year. Any suggestions for an up-scale resto in the general Mineola area that will be serving on Thanksgiving? As a point of reference, we were at Craft last year (great!), and prior years included Rainbow Room (good), Peacock Alley (OK), the Palm Court (meh), and City Hall (ugh). We are not wedded to a traditional Turkey Day menu, not opposed to it, either. Buffets notwithstanding, we realize we may be getting a limited selection menu. We're pretty open to most cuisines. Any / all suggestions most appreciated. Thanks.

Try the Garden City Hotel, 45 Seventh Street, Garden City, NY 11530 - (516) 747-3000.
I remember having a very good Thanksgiving dinner there years ago.

Maxxel's in Mineola is usually open on Thanksgiving and is consistently good; don't be put off by it's location in a strip mall. I second checking out the Garden City Hotel, as well as Stressa or La Coquille in Manhasset.
