Kirkland Cheese Pizza - new product!

This is a new product. 4 frozen cheese pizzas for about $10.
Thumbs up! The crust is neither paper thin nor deep dish. Just right for the tomato sauce and generous cheese topping. The proportions of sauce and cheese seem right to me. Simple and flavorful. You could add your own toppings. A great staple to always have on hand.

    That seems awfully cheap. How big are the pizzas?

      About 10 inches in diameter. The more you think about it, the more it is a deal! Half a pizza is a filling meal. No skimping on the cheese! That costs $1.25.

      I can't fit their fresh pizzas in my small oven. They are $10 for a giant one so this really is a good deal if you get 4 10" ones. Gotta love Costco.

        Uhhh...you cut the big pizza into small pieces to fit into the oven.

          that's what I do. My oven is tiny so I have to cut it in quarters and then some of the stuff falls off---this way I won't have to deal with it.

        I was shopping there this afternoon and this pizza was one of their sample station offerings. It is really excellent. Plus, as elise h writes, it is an excellent base for adding extra toppings.

          I bought these and had to throw out the box to fit them in my freezer because I found way too many delicious frozen items the other day. PROBLEM: Now I don't have the cooking instructions. Can anyone help??? Thanks in advance!

            Place pizza directly on oven rack for 10-12 minutes in a 425 preheated oven. Adjust based on individual oven differences. I like a softer crust and always place my pizzas on a foil lined baking sheet. Enjoy!

            OK. Just bought some today based only on these recommendations.
            Got some anchovies, black olives and mushrooms to top them off.

            Stand by for further review....

                Do you saute your mushrooms before putting them on the pizza?
                What if you wanted to add sausage. Would you saute that first?

                  We haven't tried these new little pizzas yet, but buy the regular large Costco ones all the time - they're great!

                  As far as toppings Elise - I always pre-saute my mushrooms in a little olive oil before topping the pizza. I also pre-saute garlic & onions unless I'm slicing them paperthin on a mandolin. And DEFINITELY pre-cook raw meat like sausage, sliced meatballs, etc. Not only is the pizza not in the oven long enough to be sure raw meat products are cooked properly, but precooking allows you to drain off the excess fat.

                    I used jarred mushrooms. (for shame)

                    And yes, I would cook any sausage first! Show of hands? ;-)

                    I also added some nice, crumbly queso seco just for good measure.

                    I picked these up last week, and DS and I shared one for dinner last night. Am I the only one who thought the sauce was too sweet? (Other than that, we liked it.)

                      wife and i finally bought a package and tried one last week. we added some toppings and - very, very good. is going to be a permanent fixture in our freezer.

                        Does anyone have the calories for the pepperoni pizza pack. I think they were 2300 for each pizza.

                            We've been eating these for years. I touch them up with thin sliced onions, a few shakes of Todd's Dirt seasoning and olive oil then cook for 13 min at the center location with the rack set hi in my Cuisinart convection toaster oven. We probably have it once a week. Perfect for two.
