Rehearsal Dinner HELP near CNE

Hi

Im getting married at Atlantis Pavillion at the CNE in March (955 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto) and am trying to find a good place for a rehearsal dinner for about 34 people. We do not have a huge budget and are concerned parking will be an issue for this many people! Somewhere close by would be ideal.

Thanks

There isn't a lot which is walking distance to the CNE. Some of the closer options would be in Liberty Village or along King West.

What type of food are you looking for and what is the price point? Providing a little more detail will be helpful.

It doesn't necessarily have to be walking distance, just close by. I would love to find a place for $30 per plate but not sure how realistic that is?

As far as food goes, there will be some pickier eaters so nothing too crazy. Just basic good food would be ideal.

There is a tucked away Italian restaurant in Liberty Village, Caffino, that might work (King & Dufferin). I have not been in years, so perhaps other Chowhounders can comment on the current food quality. I recall it was a very quaint space and that, while it didn't knock my socks off, I enjoyed my lunch there. Check out their website, it includes photos of the restaurant.

Not sure how casual you want to go, but what about the Brazenhead Pub in Liberty Village.

It would fit the bill for your picky eaters and you'd probably be able to get away with 30 per person including alcohol.
