Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

street food

Any new rec's for street food? Pretty much game for any cuisine. Tried and loved the Halal guys and am a sucker for falafal. Will be in town next weekend.
Thanks

  1. Haven't been yet, but the "rookie of the year" in this year's Vendy Awards is a truck called Souvlaki GR.

A few things I might recommend:
Kwik Meal - a Bengaladeshi street cart on 46th and 6th, they do amazing things with lamb and chicken.
The Jamaican Dutchy cart - on 50th and 7th- they have a daily rotating special that is usually amazing.
Dessert Truck - moves around, check twitter- just a bunch of solid, well crafted desserts.

I like the doubles and other Trini food from the Trini Paki Boys cart. I also like Wafels & Dinges.

Might be better off starting a new thread since your request is slightly different than the OP's....

          2. Taim makes my favorite falafel. They have a truck: Taim Mobile and they Twitter their location every day. Their sabich sandwich is another favorite.
