Casual Business Dinner Near Navy Pier?

  • 1

I'm going to be in Chicago for a conference this weekend and have been asked to come up with a nice place for dinner next Monday evening. I was thinking Bistro 110 or Shaw's. My dining companions are all female. One thinks Cheesecake Factory is awesome, another can't stand the sight of sushi, so there ya go. Not very adventurous eaters, alas.

Doesn't have to be within walking distance...we can cab it. We don't need to impress clients and even though it's going to be on the company tab, we're a small company, so can't get too high-end.

  1. I have a couple suggestions that are usually good for business dinners when you have a variety of eaters, both are cab distance though. Osteria Via Stato has wonderful rustic Italian probably about 10 minutes from Navy Pier. Also one of the Brazilian Steakhouses would be good - my favorite is Brazzaz but there's also Fogo De Chao and Texas de Brazil.

Naha might be good, but I'd take a look at the menu, I think that would satisfy even the least adventurous eater, but I'm far out of that box so I might need a reality check on that.

I'm not sure if any of these places are open on Mondays, some restaurants can be closed then so definitely check that out.

    Good luck!
