Where can I buy Goose Fat in NYC?

I live in Seattle, and for some reason no one, not even custom meat shops, are carrying goose fat. Some will carry close to the holidays, but I am seeking a year-round source.

Does anyone know of a source in NYC for goose fat? Duck fat I can get without too much trouble, but goose seems to be a problem.

Even on Amazon, it's not available. I tried calling Zabars (the store, not the online shop) and was completely rebuffed - no they don't carry it, and no they couldn't transfer me to anyone who knew anything about food to suggest where I could find it. (Thanks, Zabar's!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

Citarella and Fairway have goose fat in the jars--I think the brand is Rougie.

Unfortunately they both have only the Rougie duck fat, not the goose.

I've bought it at Ottomanelli's on Bleecker.

Schaller & Weber carries it all the time, in the refrigerator case on the right near where you exit. White plastic container with red writing.

Guts, many thanks for responding. Schaller & Weber does indeed carry goose fat & they are willing to ship. It's not currently on their web site, but a guy at the store mentioned the site is still getting some work done. $18 for 14 oz., $30 minimum so I bought two tubs.

Many, many thanks. One of my hardest ingredient searches yet!

FYI, shipping to Seattle for the two tubs was $35 for FedEx 2-day. Ouch. At least it was impeccably packed.
