Hello everyone,

I'm a casual peruser of the recipes section and just discovered the prairie boards here. Wow what a load of information - this will keep me busy for the next few days!!

I was wondering if anyone had tried the new Persian restaurant on Centre St, located a few blocks south of 16th Ave. I believe it's called Shiraz. I don't know my middle eastern food at all, but I loved Atlas and House of Kebab.

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

My husband tried out this new place. He went for lunch with his co-workers and he said the service was super slow... it took over an hour. He said their kebabs were good (chicken & ground beef) but Atlas is still his favourite.

        Hi miss,

It looks like they have one in Edmonton.... Not sure if it is the same chain in Calgary?

I haven't eaten there yet, but I did poke my head in and the manager said they are not related to the Edmonton location. Menu looked good to me and I plan to give it a try next week.
