recipes using merguez sausages
I would like recipes that incorporate merguez sausages, please
I just tried this recipe last week, highly modified, and we loved it. I simply made the ragu [i.e. no eggs.] I kept my sausages whole and crisped them up in a second pan before adding them to simmer to temp in the ragu. I served it over soft polenta, not because polenta was the perfect choice, but I was craving some polenta. Couscous or bulghar would be a more natural choice.
We really enjoyed this, and have marked the recipe as a keeper.
Last week I had some plain lamb sausage and stewed them with white beans with rosemary, sage, onions, garlic, sun-dried tomato and chicken broth. It was lovely. I topped with a bit of feta.
