BEST PLACE FOR A MEMORIAL GATHERING

As the heading indicates, I'm wondering what the hounds would suggest as the best restaurant for a memorial gathering. I guess a private room, excellent food and drinks with professional service are important. And one factor that I've never included in a CH post before, this will be a price is not a concern occasion. As far as the bill goes, this will be a spare no expense, the sky's the limit grand send off! I'm not too concerned about the area as long as the venue is special!

The garden at Michaels is lovely. We went to a private event on a Sunday night (when the restaurant is closed) and the food, service and setting were wonderful.

Back at the Beach--not the greatest food, but there is somoething moving about doing a memorial at the beach--sands of time etc etc.....you could construct something lovely incorporating the beach
