Looking for a Cheesecake Recipe from old Bon Appetit Magazine

Hi, I hope someone can help me. Several years ago Bon Appetit published a recipe for cheesecake with lemon curd swirled through the cake before baking. The recipe used not only cream cheese, but heavy whipping cream as well and it was a lucious dessert. A photo was on the cover the magazine. I have lost the recipe and the magazine cover so I don't know what year the recipe appeared but think it would have been in the 1980's. I would really appreciate it if anyone has this recipe and is willing to share. Thank you in advance.

Thank you everyone for your help but none of the recipes are the one I was looking for. I decided to look on Ebay and was delighted to find the Bon Appetite magazine that has the recipe. After I received the magazine I found the recipe in a box in the garage. Now, of course, I am unable to lay my hands on the magazine or the copy of the recipe but I know they are around here. I also emailed it to a friend and am going to ask her to email it back. I will post here when I have it again and will share.

I googled for a cover pic. and came up with the May '89 issue too; nothing else that seemed close. good luck!

Thank you! I never thought of that and just found the magazine for sale on backissues.com. It is May 1989 selling for $14.95. Good grief! How embarrasing. LOL

Hi, I just asked my friend to email the recipe back to me. Meanwhile, I will keep looking because I know darned well I have both the magazine and the page I tore out of original magazine. Lesson well learned, KEEP the magazines that have recipes you love! LOL

Hello, I am looking for the same recipe as I only lost it last year...none of your replies below are the same, it was in the 80's, maybe '86 and on the cover. It had a shortbread crust and a custard instead of the traditional baking method. It's my favorite cheesecake in the whole world. I'd love to find this recipe again, if you find it, please let me know. Thanks

I think you might be referring to the same recipe that blue room linked above (from July 2006). It does look good!
