We are four 60 + year olds looking for recommendations in Branson. We prefer chef-run/ independent restaurants not chains. We like mom-n-pop places too. Thanks you for your help.

B T Bones Steakhouse is a great casual restaurant open for lunch and dinner serving outstanding fresh seafood, steakz, prime rib, ribs, sandwiches and burgers. Candlestick Inn Restaurant is fine dining serving fresh seafood and steaks for dinner overlooking the river with outdoor seating. Farm House is outstanding for breakfast, lunch or dinner in casual family atmosphere. Shorty's has good BBQ.

I second the recommendation of the Candlestick Inn. Had a very good meal there with excellent, knowledgeable service.
