Soap Suds Alley, one block up from the cruise ship dock
This was the best mexican food I've had outside of mexico. She has fresh chiles roasted in New Mexico and brings them up to the restaurant. Also had the fresh sour cherry pie, the fruit had just ripened on the trees outside the restaurant (middle of August) So good I had to go back the next night for more.
, Haines, AK 99827
If you like Snow City, try Sacks Cafe for a bit more upscale yet still casual meal and if you like both of them, try the Spenard Roadhouse - owned by the folks who own Snow City and Sacks.
