Hi! My husband and I along with 2 boys, ages 17 and 18 are going to the Roger Waters concert in December. Thinking of staying and the delta hotel which appears to be close to the Pourhouse. Just wondering if there's a legal age you have to be to go there and if it would an appropriate place to go for a meal perhaps after the concert or the next evening.(Only in Vancouver for 2 nights unfortunately). Thanks for any info on this place or any other suggestions you folks might have.

There is a restauraat section on the left and a bar section on the right. I think your kids will be OK on the left side.

Hi! Yes, we were fortunate enough to get 4 tickets for this concert. Can hardly wait! Actually though, now we are staying at the fairmont waterfront because they had a very good deal for today. So, now wondering if anybody has any ideas for restaurants around this hotel that would be suitable for our family. (One of which is a huge carnivore, favorites being ribs and steak). Unfortunately not too willing to try new things. Thanks for any ideas.

I'm going throw out a restaurant here that doesn't get mentioned to often. You are going to be only a couple of blocks from Aqua Riva. They have a menu that should satisfy most tastes and the bread pudding for dessert is wonderful. Get a window seat and the view will be spectacular as well.

It is so unfortunate that law prohibits kids or teens from going into bars or most pubs in Vancouver (depending on how the are licensed) All that aside Gotham would be great for a more upscale dining experience. it is pricey and you have to pay for all side dishes but it is an extremely good restaurant. The Keg Caesars is also a very good restaurant for steak and comes a bit cheaper. Also if you feel like Greek I would highly recommend Stephos Greek on Davie street.

Keg Caesars is kaput. Closest Kegs are on Thurlow (by Robson) and Yaletown.
