I haven't eaten at the McNinch house, one of my friends said it was stellar for an anniversary.
Barrington's is tiny, maybe not the most romantic, but delicious food.Bentley's on 27th is a little bit old fashion, but worth having a cocktail, look at the menu and see how you feel about it.
Or you could just go to Fig Tree!!!

Andrew Blair's is excellent fine dining for dinner. Bonterra is very nice for dinner located in an old church. I second Fig Tree. Global is nice for dinner. Good food is a good place for a romantic dinner also.
Fig Tree would be my suggestion.

re: GodfatherofLunch
I concur with The Fig Tree. It has an ambience that is perfect for a romantic dinner. If the weather is nice, there is a very nice porch that overlooks Independence Park.
Another option is Terra on Providence Road. It's very quaint and cozy and the food is excellent.
