Tailgaters Pub and Grille in Acton

Anyone know when this is set to open up? It's taking over the old Ichabod's spot on Great Road from the looks of it. Signs went up in the windows a couple days ago.

It appears to be another branch of this restaurant/sports pub in Clinton.

Just had Tailgaters delivered. The fish was said to be fresh, if it was it was definitely old. I believe it was frozen. My son had the fish and chips and I had the the fish taco wrap. Both were a 1 out of 10 and were not finished by us. My wife ordered the cheese pizza. The sauce is either from a jar or the pizza is from Digiorno's. This pizza has joined the fish in the trash. The steak and cheese egg rolls were fine. If I wanted a beer and steak and cheese egg rolls, the place is fine. For food I would never return and beg for Ichabod's to return or for Tailgaters to close soon and be replaced with a decent restaurant. If the food continues to be this bad, the restaurant will be closed like a bad tailgate party at Foxboro.

I was the gal with the review describing the delicious meatloaf. It is September now. In July we went back and they only were serving right off the menu, and that the meatloaf was not a menu item. The menu items did not attract my interest, so I left and have not returned.

Re Tailgaters, Acton MA: The decor is comfortable. Sports bar to one side, dining to the other. The meatloaf is very delicious... the service so far has been very pleasant, and the girls really cute. I just wish they would bother to write the order down instead of trusting to memory.

Still closed this morning, with long curtains up to obscure the view inside.

Tailgator's in Acton is now open. Big flag outside, and lights on inside.
Signs on windows advertise Trivia Night every Wednesday.

Have not yet paid a visit.

Acton Coffee House is now open. Looks very much like a copy of Ziba's - little has
changed.

Agreed. Except for the less pleasant paint job. It's been open since mid-February.

I wish someone would open a "real" restaurant in the area. One that serves real food. I really don't need another plate of nachos or another fake "martini." And, if I want to watch TV while I eat, I can do that at home.
