kagemusha49 has hit on an interesting point. What are you looking for? Dover Sole or "Dover Sole". Some may accuse me of splitting hairs but it is a huge pet peeve of mine. It's like asking for "Bermuda Onions" and "Kobe Beef". I would venture to say that regardless of perception, flavor and assurances, there are very few places that serve a real Dover Sole. If you are looking for the real deal, I would probably go to no other place than Bartolotta in Wynn, but call ahead to see if they are importing it. The other place you may want to try is Milos in the Cosmo (although I would never go to either the NYC or LV restaurant for several reasons).

Phil's Italian Steakhouse at Treasure Island has a finely prepared Dover Sole. I am a very picky Dover Sole eater and I give this one two thumbs up.

When Andre's was Downtown he served an exceptional Dover Sole. I see that it is on the menu at both Andre's @ Monte Carlo and Alize@Palms, but I haven't been to either. Both priced at $67.

Not sure - you need to go to a genuine no BS seafood place to get the real thing. RM seafood?

I don't know about Vegas (you may not get the real thing) but I'm taking my family on the Queen Mary 2 next month and they will have the real deal.
