Anniversary Dinner in Orlando in October

Going to Disney for Food and Wine. Have reservations for House of Blues, Hacienda de San Angel, Via Napoli, Boma. Plan on grazing at Epcot Food and Wine for two days.

Looking for a place, not in a theme park, for an anniversary dinner. Ideally, looking for something quiet, somewhat romantic and, the catch, not outrageously expensive, with decent food. It doesn't have to be gourmet food. We like all kinds of food between us. I don't like sushi or fish of any sort, although my husband does, so it would need to be a place that had other options. However, we both love Thai and Chinese. We also like Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Steak, etc.

We are staying at the Sheraton Vistana which I guess isn't far from Downtown Disney. We will have a vehicle and willing to drive as long as the area is safe and not too confusing.

California Grill is a good option but it can get pricey. If you want to get off Disney Property something that might meet your needs is the Funky Monkey in Pointe Orlando. If you sit inside it really is quite a nice experience and they do great things with food at reasonable prices. Ignore the name, I've never seen a place that matches it's name less.

Funky Monkey looks good and is a definite possibility. Do you know if they have a good selection of beers as well?

they had a pretty decent one when I was there. while you're in town make sure to try some Florida-made Cigar City beers if you get the opportunity! :)

You like all kinds of food but not fish of any sort? Does that include shellfish? Go to California Grill. You should be able to find something you like there.
