Lunch downtown?

I'm looking for a great lunch spot downtown. I'm coming from Wellington and York and my friend is at King and Jarvis. Any suggestions in the middle? I'd love something like Gilead Cafe, but more centrally located.

I have not been to Gilead but there's Mercatto on Toronto Street just north of King. Thuet has a little cafe/bakery with grilled sandwiches etc on King just west of Yonge.

Are you thinking of Petit Thuet? It is very tiny (only a few tables) but has high quality lunch stuffs!

Yes the Petit one!! It's tiny but comfy if you can get a table.

I had a nice lunch at Four at Bay & Wellington, and I think that Beer Bistro and Thuet are great suggestions!
