Feed my Boss from LA - Suggestions?

I am new to Montreal.. I've only been here for a few weeks.

My boss is here from Los Angeles and I would like to take him out for dinner.

I would like to find something... uniquely Montreal

Any suggestions?

    Check www.restomontreal.com for ideas.

    Uniquely montreal makes me think smoked meat, bagels and poutine. Or you could go for french/french fusion instead. Maybe consider Reuben's downtown. They have the key items in an easy to get to location.

    Schwartz's is another known smoked meat place.

    For good french food though consider: Le Caveau (downtown), Le Club du Village (Westmount), Grenadine (Downtown-ish). All are 'boss-friendly' ;).
