Where to get baked falafel?

I know, I know. Deep-fried falafel is so much tastier.

Unfortunately, my waistline would really like to know where to get its healthier cousin, the baked falafel. Preferably east of Yonge, west of Markham Road, and south of Sheppard, if possible.

Anyone??

Tov-Li is the only place I've seen them. Never tried them, but they have big signs all over boasting baked falafel available now.

Okay, so there you go. What do I know. I would think that baked falafel would be very dry and crumbly, but try it out and let us know.

I have eaten baked falafel at a place called Anita's Kitchen in Ferndale, Michigan. While it is certainly not as decadent as the deep-fried version, I still very much enjoy them!

I have also made them myself at home. They can be very dry and crumbly, but need not be, if one uses the right recipe.

Thanks, duckdown. I will have to give them a try when I'm in that end of town.
