Saturday lunch Beacon Hill recs?

I'm in Boston on an upcoming Saturday for a few hours. I wanted to do the autumn Public Gardens stroll and maybe shopping on Charles St. I haven't been in about a year, has anyone had a good lunch in the area lately? Interested in any and all types of restaurants. Thanks!

I'm a big fan of the Paramount on Charles Street. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with their lunch menu featuring a variety of sandwiches.

I like Grotto too but it does not serve lunch on Sat/Sun. I have found the Hill worth avoiding.

Beacon Hill Bistro on Charles St is probably the best choice in the area. For something informal, Panficio near Charles Circle is good.

I think Beacon Hill Bistro is a pretty good choice, and on the other side of the hill, I would put in another vote for The Hill, which is great for bar fare, including their burger, their pulled-pork sandwich, and the chicken on focaccia sandwich.

I like the Grotto on Bowdoin Street and The Hill on Cambridge Street. Food has been good at both places. The Hill has outdoor seating and more of a pub atmosphere. Enjoy!
