dinner in Athens TONIGHT!
Philadelphia chowhound coming to Athens for a quick 24 hour stay. I've spent time in Athens, and have really enjoyed Dolce Vita (I think that's the name?) and The National. I've also enjoyed a quick lunch at Doc Chey's. Looking for a new place to try tonight for dinner. Here are the qualifications:
1. one entree, one glass of wine (or a beer), tax, and tip = $40 or less (if I can squeeze an app or dessert in for that price, even better!)
2. GOOD flavorful food - I'm open to absolutely any type of food, especially ethnic
3. prefer to be able to walk (within a few blocks) of the Classic Center/Hilton Garden Inn (but willing to drive for a great relatively inexpensive meal)
4. not mobbed with students

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I tried Farm 255 on your recommendation. I'm beat, but here's a quick summary:
Service - terrible.
Selection - limited.
Burger - incredible.Worth returning for the burger alone. :)
I'll be back in October and may try DePalma's next. Five and Ten sounds fabulous, but a bit out of my corporate expense account budget, I believe. Maybe one of these days I'll splurge out of pocket to check it out. Keep the suggestions coming, as I typically get to Athens 3-4 times a year. Thanks again! If you ever get to Philly, let me know. Happy to make some recommendations...
