Carrot Cake - Baltimore City?

a70wilson Sep 20, 2010 05:28 AM

It's not exactly a craving (although pregnant with twins would make you think otherwise), but I would love to find a great piece of (preferably) to-go carrot cake. Suggestions? I'd like to stay within the city limits, although could be persuaded it is worth a drive to one of the burbs. Thanks!

I'm not sure if it's always on the menu, but Dogwood in Hampden has a really good carrot cake. Though not in the city, I think Wegman's does a fine carrot cake, too. They are, perhaps, a little heavy on the icing.

if you have a harris teeter grocery store nearby, their carrot cake is terrific!

oops, i see that the store in baltimore itself has been delayed. http://baltimore.bizjournals.com/balt...

when I attempted to click on the link in alkapal's post, nothing came uip. Hence, my reason for questioning. But, I went out and bought a new computer yesterday and for some reason, when I clicked on the link from the new computer I was able to read the article. And, I didn't buy the new computer based on that reason, but it was just a weird coincidence.

Glad you are watching out for me. Thanks! FoiGras
