Beyond Pho...

My wife and I were in Little Saigon today and went to Nam Giao, where they specialize in baked catfish. While we have had it before (and it was tasty) we weren't that hungry so we ordered Bun Mam, which is one of her favorites. I'm not a Bun Mam expert, but their version was quite good.

But that brings me to my question...

People often ask me about my favorite Vietnamese restaurants and my favorite place for Pho. While I love Pho, we don't eat it that much. Bun Bo Hue, Bun Oc, Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bun Thit Nuong...are some of my favorites. I would love to hear from others if you have a favorite Vietnamese noodle dish and were you go to get it.

Always looking for some new places and we don't get to Little Saigon as much as we used it. When we go, it needs to count.

I like Bun Cha Ca, where the fish comes on a sizzling plate with dill and onions. We used to get it at this hole in wall place off Golden West in the Stater Bros shopping plaza.
