Thanks VinhoTinto75 (about Lisbon)

I´m a heavy reader of this kind of sites, but is the first time i write something.
The post and answer of Vinhotinto75 are accurate, serius and better than the professionals. Just spent a week in Lisbon with my husband and followed lots of suggestions and ideas from Vinhotinto75.
In one of restaurants we had two of the more impressive meals of our live. We live in Paris and are use to top quality restaurants but food that taste like the original flavours, fresh products, lots of herbs good product and modern presentation for a wise price is not usual. The second time we went to this restaurant we invited some portuguese friends and like a lot and found some old flavours (grandmother food) but they didn´t knew the restaurant. Because of Vinotinto75 we could surprise our portuguese friends.

The restaurante is Assinatura, not far from Marques do pombal and the website is
www.assinatura.com.pt

Thanks vinhotinto75 and continue to advice us with your know how about Portugal. We´ll try to comeback

My husband and I also just returned from Lisbon and went to several of the restaurants suggested by Vinhotinto, and I would also like to add our thanks. Every one of the recommended places was excellent, and we would not have otherwise learned of most of these spots.

We had dinner our first night at Ibo, which I highly recommend. My husband ordered from the Portuguese part of the menu and I had the Mozambique cuisine. All dishes were delicious, service was friendly and helpful, and the location by the water was a great way to kick off our stay in this wonderful city.

We also had a great chicken, potato and white wine lunch at Bonjardim. Sunday we went to Imperio dos Sentidos, which was also a fine choice. We liked the food and the vibe there-- sort of an Italian take on Portuguese ingredients.

Not sure if this is a Vinhotinto recommendation, but we also ate dinner at 100 Maneiras. Terrific 10-course tasting menu with creative dishes that really worked. A truly memorable meal, and a real value.

So thank you for the great recommendations, Vinhotinto. They really added enjoyment to our trip.
    Portugal is a wonderful country.

      @ Shawn

You are most welcome as I'm glad to share all the tips and passion regarding the cuisine in the city where I live for the majority of the year.

I'm glad that you liked Ibo as I think it is VERY unique and probably the only chance most people will have to try Mozambican cuisine outside of visiting the actual country. Likewise, the management is extremely professional and cordial.

      Boa sorte!

Please let me know if you ever come back and I will happy to suggest even more places.

      Sorte!
