Ahhh, it's that dreaded/revered time of year: Seattle Restaurant Week, lunch for $15 and dinner for $25.

I'm new to the area, so this might be the usual, but I noticed that RW is not valid on Fridays or Saturdays.

I have a bday to celebrate during RW so I'm looking for a special occasion 'ish evening. Am currently debating between: Anchovies & Olives, Joule, Staple and Fancy, and Tilth. Thoughts from those who have been (especially S&F)? Poppy's menu also looks delicious.

  1. Really enjoyed Staple and Fancy - did the "just feed us" option. Were served 8 dishes (for 4 of us) for the 1st course, 2 pastas and 2 entrees (a meat & a fish) and 2 desserts. Most were different than the menu items. There were a couple of misses - the entrees were the least enjoyed, but there were quite a few wows that made up for it. Have only been to Joule for their Urban BBQ and haven't been back to Tilth since a really bad experience a couple of years ago, so hard to compare. S&F was definitely fun and a pretty amazing dinner at $45.
