Awesome mixed grill: deeply flavourful pieces of lamb; slices of doner kebab, dryish, almost jerky-like, with a smoky concentrated flavour; good moist kofte , cooked just right. A cut above Hala in Haringey for the grill. Enhanced with grilled peppers and onions and the lively tang and spicy heat of a chilli/tomato sauce. A nice warm pita. Squirts of lemon juice at the table cut the greasiness of grill perfectly.

I remember you said that the spicy kofte was your favourite? or was it something else? What else is good there?

Always surprised how big a fuss is made over Bospherous, but hey, I'm not really into doner-kebab so I am not the best person to judge. That being said, their rice and sides are objectively terrible.

who ever said anything about doner kebab?! and the sides can be actively delicious.

Limster spoke at great length about doner kebab in the original post! I hope you enjoy your meals there, but you won't have the pleasure of running into me there!

PS: I know its all the rage to put aside cleanliness concerns for good food, but that place is really disgusting. Sit in the rear seats, and take a look in the corners DREK!

I'm often in need of good kebab but I cannot check their website to see if booze is permitted.

                  Any of you peeps know?
