I was reccently in Charleston for a week, and experianced on several ocasions, the rounding up of the bill. When I received a bill such as $35 50, the restaurants chargged me $36.00 when the change was returned. Is this a normal practice in other locations or just in Charleston?

  1. That is not a local practice, nor is it legal.

    1. And you allowed this to happen?

      You got robbed.

      1. I have never seen that, anywhere. It's definitely not common in Charleston.
