my cedar wrapped salmon with asparagus.....

i saw someone do this on the egghead forum and i had to try. i "brined" the salmon for a couple hours in olive oil, white wine and seasonings. i wrapped the cedar up with asparagus, a green onion and a lemon slice. my seasonings were salt and dizzy pig shakin' the tree and dp tsunami spin. i cooked them about 20 minutes on the big green egg at 400, direct, rasied grid. the potatoes were boiled and then grilled and then seasoned and grilled some more.

    Where did you get the cedar shakes? Around here all I can find are planks.

      I got them from woot.com a few weeks ago. They worked out real nice. Mild cedar.
