Seeking tips on Quebec City essential eats

Hi all - we are staying in the old town in QC (on Rue Ste-Ursule) next weekend and I am interested in hearing of great places to eat (not too expensive) in the old town and also in Saint-Roche.... or, anywhere in the city, really.

*Great breakfast/ brunch
*Relaxed, comfortable cafe to linger in over coffee
*Exceptional poutine
*Nice place for a special dinner that's not too expensive

Merci beaucoup!

    poutine: Ashton
Good dinner: L'Échaudé is average price (20-30)
Breakfast: Cloché penché, 48, Buffet de l'antiquaire

L'Echaude is $20 - $30 for mains only, not including appetizers, desserts and drinks. It's good, but not exactly inexpensive...
