  1. The California Roll Burger, because it's very good and I don't think something close can be found elsewhere. And as good as it is, it's pretty hard to eat like a burger. Outside of a ciabatta, I don't think there's a bun that could hold all of this together.

So it's basically crab, avocado, rice, seaweed, on top of the burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheeese???

      thanks.

Nix the rice, tomato and cheese. The lettuce is more like the spring mix one gets in salads nowadays. The crab-portion is more like a well-prepared crab salad. Garnish with strips of nori, throw in some wasabi sauce on that huge burger patty and their house-baked buns. It's a true novelty, but embarrassingly indulgent.

So it's not the chocolate fudge burger then? ;-D>

I really like it, but not as much as the CA Roll Burger. Your memory is scary good.

I pay more attention to certain posters whose tastes seem pretty well aligned with mine...for better or worse. (g)

Seriously deep complement from my POV. m(_ _)m

Try the Fudge Burger before you knock it! Or I am gonna knock you! LOL J/K

Just kidding, bula. There's no fudging in my burger world. I do need to get back to 26. I may go this week. Where's your office located in the restaurant? I'll drop by... ;-D>

Right across from the women's restroom.....................

      2. Any other recs (not the California Roll; I don't eat seafood)? I plan on going in the near future...

          curry burger
          pb&j burger
          western-type burger

it's actually best to go with a group -- cut the burgers in 4 and share. i find any one of their burgers too much. but bites of each are yum.

        2. They got a new one, The Mile High Burger, there is a photo on their facebook page. Corned beef, swiss cheese, coleslaw, tomato, russian dressing on a burger, OMG it is crazy good, had it last week. Heard the owner and a manager? talking about doing some new sushi burger, could not hear everything they said. I hope it is soon.

ooh this one sounds interesting. will have to try it next time i head to 26 beach!

              1. re: Burger Boy

I'm down with that except for the cheese and Russian dressing. Btw. The corned beef is Vienna beef.

Go to there facebook page and you can see a picture of the Mile High Burger!

              2. The UFO is also great, messy but great! The BBQ Chicken sandwich, Memphis style with coleslaw on top, not a burger but hella good!

                1. My 2 favorites are the King Kobe and the Proscuitto burger.

                  1. No shout outs to the veggie burger? I thought they were known for that. And can someone please explain the fudge burger? I've seen it on the menu, but have no clue as to what it is...

The fudge burger is pretty basic. Big burger, Valrhona chocolate sauce, vanilla sauce, and brioche bun. Bacon is optional but I'd think why stop shy of the bacon? Poster nachosaurus offered a great strategy for those who might either want to try many burgers or might be gun-shy about ordering one single burger (like this one) for themselves. Check out his post above.

Veggie burger is great, I think I might be eating more of those after I take my 14 fasting cholesterol test!
