Is Danielle Forestier still making bread in the Bay Area?

Trip down memory lane here from where Danielle Forestier (Dinah Schley) got her french baking start at Les Belle Miche in Santa Barbara and began her long association with Julia Childs. Is she still baking breads in the Bay Area which is where the last internet search revealed? Thnx.

    Hi, Globetrotter (what a great occupation), yes, I'm here in the East Bay, consulting, not running a retail bakery, but only for clients whose products I like. All my contact info provided you is correct, I'm in Oakland on Trestle Glen Rd. Thanks for asking.

      Danielle, I wish you would open another bakery, this time right on Lakeshore in your (and my) neighborhood. That would be heavenly!

        There's nothing quite as nice as getting up really early in the morning to bake off the bread.

      She was an owner of Feel Good Bakery in Alameda but don't know if she's still involved.

          She is no longer involved in Feel Good. She remains active as a consultant to the food industry, and spends her free time enjoying her grandkids. Much to my personal and far too infrequent delight, she bakes some pain de campagne for her kids :)

            (510) area code is Oakland, East Bay area. Looks like she teaches classes from this location, but no mention of retail bread sales. Thanks.
