Can't make it to Commander's for Lunch

Hockey19 Sep 17, 2010 05:24 PM

We will be 6 coming in to NOLA in January. We always hit Commander's for lunch on Friday's when we visit but our flight may get us in to late to get there in time. Not sure we can get there by 1:30. Missing our 25 cent Martini's is going to be a HUGE problem. Looking for possible alternatives?

Bacco has $0.10 martinis and their lunch runs until 2:30 PM.

Perhaps the Hermes Bar @ Antoine's for something more casual than the restaurant itself? Don;t know if they do 25 cent martini's though.

Most end lunch at 2. Domenica has happy hour 3-6...1/2 price pizzas and libations. Luke offers 50 cent oysters, 1/2 price libations 3-6. Galatoires and Cochon are open continuously, although no drink specials. Herbsaint has a "between" menu (between lunch/dinner).

Where are you staying? Will you have a car. Regardless are you willing to take a cab Uptown. If you are in FQ have dinner at Galatoire's early. Go to Antoine's, Bayona, Mr. B's, Emeril's or Stella. Luke's in CBD has Happy Hour Martini's and oysters.
