You'll be about 25 miles from Kingston. Roudigan's Steakhouse offers their annual T'sgiving smorgasbord and it's pretty good. Well worth the trip. 9G south to Rhinecliff bridge. Then Route 199/209 into Kingston. Get off at the traffic circle and you'll see the sign. http://roudigans.com/
Welcome to our beautiful Hudson Valley!

I have no idea what will be open on Thanksgiving, but these are the places in Hudson or within a 25 minute drive that I would recommend calling to find out:
Swoon
Ca Mea
Vico
DaBa
Carolina House (Kinderhook)
Madalin's Table (Tivoli)

re: NYchowcook
NOTHING is freshly made? What does that even mean? We had steak, burgers, ribs, these were definitely cooked from scratch. The fish I don't know but it was prepared perfectly: But the cornbread and dirty rice that came with it sure didn't taste frozen. It's good home cooking, which fits the bill this time of year.

re: NYchowcook
When did you last dine there, and what was not "freshly made"? I agree that Swoon is better but that doesn't mean Carolina House is not a worthy choice, and better value. Everything I've had there has been delicious, sometimes imaginative, and the setting is charming. I have had some fish dishes that rival what I would get at much more expensive places in Manhattan.
