Child Friendly in Chelsea for a Friday or Saturday night dinner?

We are going to be on West 18th Street between 5th and 6th and are looking for dinner restaurant recommendations that are family friendly. Children are 4 and 7, reasonably well behaved, but not adventuresome with food. Good Italian (pasta or pizza) will work as will simply prepared foods. Any ideas?

Le Zie, on 7th at 20th Street. Very good, moderately priced Italian (including great spaghetti and meaballs).

The waits have been pretty long (over an hour last night around 8:00), but there's a sit down, pasta and pizza area inside Eataly (23rd and 5th) that looks pretty promising.

Chelsea Ristorante is nothing special but there are always kids in there and the menu is pretty straightforward and solid. Our favorite kid-friendly spot is Gradisca - they adore kids and the food is generally very good. Both places have a full bar for the adults. ABC Kitchen could work if the kids like to eat early, but you'll need a reservation.

Eataly is a zoo, even worse weekend night, I think.
