Need rec for good restaurant w/ sexy/cool bar seating

Hi. I'm a SD native looking for a recommendation for a small neighborhood restaurant with good bar seating (for eating), similar to Beaumont's in LJ (but perhaps a bit "sexier"/intimate). People have mentioned Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant or Bencotto. It doesn't have to be new.... Any other ideas? I'd prefer not to go to far east from the I-5. Thanks!
