Friday night near Place Vendome

May I trouble the esteemed hounds for recommendations for a pleasant, romantic bistro meal on a Friday night near the Place Vendome. So far I have picked up on Bistro Volnay and Aux Lyonnais - which of these would you prefer? Any other options I should consider? Many thanks!

Had a great experience in Aux Lyonnais. Solid bistro fare and great service (not snooty but attentive).

At Aux Lyonnais, the dinner menu gives several choices, including some of their special dishes. More expensive than the lunch menu at 34 Euros, but still a decent deal. The house wines by the glass are also resonably priced. Don't have a current opinion on Volnay; all the talk is quite positive.

How do you feel about the weekend 'special' at Le Petit Celadon?

I read about it last year in Chowhound, but it was posted for last October and I was hoping for an update. It is in the Hotel Westminster off the Place Vendome. During the week it called Le Celadon but on the weekends it becomes Le Petit Celadon, with a well priced prix fixe menu. Just don't know about the quality..any insights are appreciated. thanks
