Zuma vs. Hakkasan

Trying this again with a new subject, mods, please erase the other one...

I have a guest coming in town from NY and want to take her to a memorable meal down here. We are doing a group dinner on Friday night at Sra. Martinez, so was thinking the Asian upscale would be a good counter, with both Hakkasan and Zuma down here and not in NYC. Which one do you prefer? Are they about the same price? Better cocktails or vibe at one or the other? And most importantly, which is the better food? Thanks!

LOL Haven't been to Zuma and only tried Hakkasan for dim sum lunch but it was really amazingly good. Was that this weekend or another one

For two weekends from now. Zuma was really good, but there is not much else going on around there. Hopefully some other people can offer some insight.

I havent been to Zuma but I did do the Spice Menu dinner at Hakkasan and was extremely impressed. everything was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and we all left very happy with our meals. can't go wrong here.

I havent been to Zuma yet but if youre talking about "making a night out of it" then Hakkasan is the call just based on possibilities for pre and post dinner drinks, etc on premises (Fontainebleau) or close by.

Zuma is amazing. Get the tartare to start the presentation is amazing, service always attentive at both lunch and dinner. The garlic chile edamame is addictive. The beef tatake with truffle sauce is another highlight. You can't go wrong. Hakkasan next on my list but Zuma is so close and convenient.
