Downtown Korean food carts
There seems to be some confusion on the board about downtown Korean food carts, maybe it's only me that's confused, so I wanted to start a new thread on it. Here's what I know/think on the topic, but I'd be very interested to hear others' views.
There is one Korean food cart on L St. at 14th (SE corner). There is rarely a line there. I went once for bulgogi and was unimpressed - haven't returned.
There is another cart on the north side of K St. near Vermont. I had their bulgogi once and didn't like it much (but I liked it better than the other one). Today I got a no-meat bi bim bop ($7) and really liked it a lot -- good rice, lots of vegetables and egg. For me it was a good amount of food - not too little or too much. There were a few people ahead of me, but my total wait time was probably about 5 mins. - no more than 10 max.
Are there others?
I've often heard that the yellow cart is the best, though I've never tried any of them due to the fact that I don't work near there.
Coincidentally, I was planning on going tomorrow and walking to Lafayette Park to eat. The yellow cart is now always at 12th and F? Or is it at 14th and L? I am so confused...
